Due to the on-going restrictions caused by COVID-19, we decided to shift the HoW exciting! 2020 hands-on tutorial to June, 2022.

We are optimistic that the situation will immensely improve in 2022 and hope that you will be able to join us for the event. We will keep you updated on this website and we will make the new dates available as soon as possible.

With HoW exciting! postponed to 2022, we would like to announce here the full online event exciting NEWS 2021. This event is a light version of the HoW exciting workshop and will consist of keynote lectures as well as selected hands-on sessions related to new advancements in the exciting code.

The talks and tutorials are planned on

• June 16: Advanced exchange-correlation functionals and GW methodology
• June 18: The Bethe-Salpether-equation formalism
• June 21: Dynamics: Time-dependent DFT and transport properties
• June 23: Electron-phonon coupling
